This notice explains the limited browser storage and third-party features currently used by BoonvilleGrown.com, and when a consent choice would be added.
The Journal uses session storage to remember that a visitor dismissed the newsletter invitation during the current browser session. This is not used for cross-site advertising or to build a behavioral profile. The hosting platform may process essential technical data and aggregate page-view or visitor counts needed to operate, secure, and understand basic site use.
Newsletter signup communicates with Mailchimp, and the Contact page embeds a Mailchimp-hosted form. When you use those features, Mailchimp may use cookies or similar technologies under its own practices. Review Mailchimp’s Cookie Statement and Intuit’s Privacy Statement.
At the effective date above, the Journal does not intentionally install Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Mailchimp connected-site tracking, remarketing tags, or other nonessential advertising trackers. Because the current first-party storage is limited to the signup interface and essential operations, the site does not currently display a separate cookie-consent banner.
You can clear or block browser cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Blocking storage may affect form, security, or preference features. Privacy controls for a third-party service must generally be exercised with that provider.
If optional analytics, advertising, personalization, or similar nonessential tracking is added, this notice will be updated and an appropriate consent or preference tool will be introduced before that tracking is activated where required.
